No, it means you lose the 2 points because the question has been deleted.

When a question is deleted, all of the answers get deleted too and therefore the two points are deducted and then given back to you ~ therefore the message you had. In other words, Yahoo take them away and give them back to you. Funny wording they use methinks!

Got the same Thistle. Answered a Q and when submit *This Q has been deleted*. Then Wow, you've earned 4 points! OK by me.

They have just upgraded the system and there are still glitches with the system you still get the two points. BQ - Definately a glitch in the system BQ2 - Programming is a hit and miss situation at times even the best thought through programs can have unexpected results especially in low level languages which is why they say profanities and the most commonly used language by programmers.
