Ortho compression spray bottles?

The plunger on both of my spray bottles are sticky and hard to pump. How do I can and restore them?

    Get some 3 in 1 oil, or Lock lubricant spray, take the plunger out as far as you can and spray the plunger bar liberally. Push down. Close and lock. Release lift and repeat until you have it going easy as pie.

    Both of these products will reduce or eliminate rust. Help De-salt. Lubricate gaskets and eliminate most corrosion, water and other damage(s) that may have been caused or may be caused.

    There is NO NEED to disassemble ANYTHING. No need to risk breaking or ruining what you already have.

    Take it apart and clean with dishwashing liquid and a sponge. Coat all rubber seals with plumbers grease or petroleum jelly(vaseline). Fill it up with water and soap and spray it to clean it well.
