Can you buy a Verizon pay as you go phone and have it work on your2 yr contract?

I am looking for answers from someone who as actually attempted it. Thanks!!!

    Once it has been activated on pre-paid it cannot be use on post-paid for 6 months. Try activating the ESN on your account before opening the pre-paid. It can be done if you never activate it first on your contract and never on pre-paid but Verizon does not want you to be able too.

    Only if you take out the pay as you go SIM and replace it with your contract SIM
