To the so called Christians...?
Why does it seem that so many of you have forgotten what it truly means to be a follower of Christ's message? I AM not surprised to see so many atheists attacking so many Christians, but I AM surprised to see so many so called Christians attacking so many atheists. Was not the message of Christ to love one another unconditionally, regardless of our differences? Was not Christ's message to love ones enemies? Why do so many of you claim to be Christians yet act in such an un Christ like manner? Are we not to judge our brothers and sisters lest we be judged ourselves? Do you really think that the Messiah needs you to defend Him or His Father? Do you not see that by resorting to these tactics you are driving more and more away from the Love of the Father?

I don't call myself a Christian though I have the Christ/Holy Spirit within me. The problem many Christians have is that they believe all that is said in their scriptures literally, and have not the true spirit of the Father within them to discern between, Gods true church from within one heart and mind, and Satan's church's that's visible upon the earth which both church's are interwoven amongst the written words of men. Why is that? Well, when I called myself a Christian, I also became angered when another attacked or said something derogatory against Jesus Christ, but upon learning more truth through the true spirit and true teacher, which is God/the Father himself, I've learned truth that has led me out of man's churches while at the same time has freed me up from the vain rituals and ordinances propagated by men to control the thinking of the masses.
As Jesus said, and not exactly this verbiage, but it means the same thing, "The Pharisees and Scribe enter not, and so how can you enter the Kingdom of Heaven if your own teachers don't enter?"
Christians praise Jesus, not the Father. Many have made him God, and yet they always stand up and are ready to die for the man, Jesus. The Father, they don't speak to for they feel they are not worthy to speak directly to God. How sad that they make an oath to bear the name of Christ, but feel themselves unworthy of talking to the Father. How strange a relationship they have for the Father teaches his own. His own are those who ask and follow him and not the vain teachings of men who've been duped by the greatest trickster of them all, Satan.
I need not say anymore, for I shouldn't have answered this question knowing not many who read it may understand and those who may understand it may become angry or disturbed for they will feel that I attack Jesus, when in all I am saying is true. Their anger and dismissal of such truth as I have stated, would be in line with Peter denying Christ three times in one night. So have the Christians denied the Father by praising Christ. I deny not Christ, but know that the Christ/Holy spirit dwells within me and no anger rears it's ugly head no matter what anyone says about the Father or Jesus. The truth shall set you free in more ways than one.
God bless any who understand and may a touch of light, lighten one free spirit for further truth as our world delves into the abyss of darkness which is coming upon this land, all in the name of ignorance.

Are you going to practice what you preach? Because if you aren't then you yourself are making a judgement upon others.
Judge not, yet you yourself be judged is what Jesus told us.
Let the person who is without sin throw the first stone. And they all walked away because no one was without sin.
Don't look at the speck in your brother's eye but look at the log in your own.
Atheists are always going to find fault, let's face it that is their job. They will always attack Christians no matter what they say or do.
Yes there are some people who say they are Christians but aren't, there are also some here on the internet who say they are Christians but are really atheists out to mock and have a good laugh. You have to discern who is genuine and who is not. On the internet sometimes its hard to know.
Instead of attacking Christians yourself (if you yourself are a true Christian)? You should be them and encouraging them to act in a more Christ like manner.
But if you are an atheist? Then all Christians can expect from you is criticism, mockery and anything negative because that is what atheism is all about.

According to your profile, you are a believer. So do you practice what you preach?
Your question, appropriately named "To the so called Christians...?" shows us you cannot be in the world but not of the world. Saying "so called Christians" illustrates you are casting doubt on another persons actions and thereby judging their beliefs (and therefore themselves) on this fact alone.
So please tell me, how are you yourself not judging all Christians on what they say and do.
Then you judge atheists and Christians in one sentence; "I AM not surprised to see so many atheists attacking so many Christians, but I AM surprised to see so many so called Christians attacking so many atheists." Does this mean you judge atheists to be judgmental and argumentative? Do you judge Christians to be perfect in comparison (hence your surprise)?
Also, who are you to judge what is Christ-like and what is not? "...yet act in such an un Christ like manner?"
Religion is always fickle and always will be. People will always go to war for their beliefs, words will be slung to defend a theory and bloodshed in the name of a god. This is just human nature, which, as we know is far from perfect. I re-iterate, you cannot be from the world but not of the world. Regardless of whether you mean to, you will judge people, so I would not be so quick to criticize your fellow Christians as this in itself is an act of judgment.

As an Atheist, I'm proud you asked this question and did so in a fair manner. I DO NOT agree with anyone attacking anyone else for their beliefs (or perhaps confusion of their beliefs) EXCEPT Muslims who believe killing other people who don't believe what they do is acceptable. I believe Christianity is a wonderful concept and actually incorporate much of this belief in my everyday life (i.e. simply be a good person and cause no harm to others and accept a person as good or bad on their character and merits and not on their faith alone). I wish I could say I believe religion is a good thing but history has taught us otherwise (and yes I realize it was mostly the zealots but isn't that how religions will always be remembered?). Any who, I didn't answer your question but I do appreciate your question being presented in a respectful, honest and straightforward manner.

jesus christ said during consecration," : This is the chalice of my blood, of the new
and eternal testament, the mystery of faith, which shall be shed for you and for MANY, to the remission of sins.
jesus christ died for the sake of all souls yet not all but MANY will benefit the merits of his death on the cross. not all christians understand it. many also forgot the true meaning of being a christian.
but to defend the FAITH of the MANY is a duty to every christian even to the extent of giving one's life. i mean the "crusade".
just as christ had said,"you (the TRUE christians) are not of this world", the reason why human' reasons can not understand of what a true christian means.

I agree with you. It really annoys me when people start attacking each other, especially when they don't even fully understand the other person's point of view. Judging is always wrong, but it's even worse to prejudge someone before you get to know them or take the time to understand what they're trying to say.

Right Jah, You can get your message across and be kind and decent to others in the meantime...

Because they aren't Christians.
Just as there are people who claim to be a part of a certain group but don't subscribe to the ideals. It happens with all religions.
For you to single out Christians makes me think you have recently had some psychological issues with the topic or with someone.

You just became one of those ''attacking christian people'',
do you think just because we are christians we like to be
called all kind of names and then don't say any thing back?
do you think christians are immune to stupidity some atheist
have too by arguing pointless arguments over and over?

Luke 23:34
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
