How to plant an acorn?
I have a chinese and an american acorn. How do I plant each? Direction in the ground? Placement? depth? watering? start inside and put out or just plant outside?
Yes I'm sure I can search it but I trust my fellow answers better.

The rule of the thumb for planting round seeds is four time the diameter of it. An acorn should be planted the depth of four acorns. Plant it where you will want it to grow. I place a small wire cage to mark the spot and protect it from mowers and grass whips. The soil should be tilled first and kept moist. Good luck.
