Need help what should I do?
I am 16 years old and I went to a demo day today and I hit the new g15 driver and long story short it was the best driver I have ever hit but the shaft in it was a diamana 73 x shaft and the dude said that it was a $100 up charge on it so I hit the stock x shaft and I was very inconsistent with it and also it was ten yards shorter than the diamana so should I buy the one with the diaman or should I go with the cheaper shaft and try to cope with it
Ps. I really would recommend the g15 for anybody wanting a new driver the feel off the face is sweet

depends on your finances. If you really want that new driver and can't afford it with the fancy shaft , do some research , you might find a competitor's shaft that is compariable with less expense. Buying a club you hit inconsistantly will lead to less hitting the driver. You wouldn't be confident with the stock shaft so its a useless tool for you. Looks like we should start a money raising campaign, caddy for your dad's buddies a few weekends or mow some lawns or wash cars , flip burgers , whatever it takes to raise the money , It'll make u a better person for it.

Brian paying big bucks for something you really like can be a tough decision and that G15 with the Diamana shaft is expensive to be sure. There is not much point is settling for a lesser shaft because it will never perform like the Diamana. The shaft is the engine that drives the head. If cost is the biggest factor for you see if you can find a used G10 with the shaft you are looking for. It may take some time but you might find one. Replacing a stock shaft with a Diamana could cost upwards of $300 so that is not an option that I would choose. If you can afford the G15 don't settle for less and justify the purchase by keeping it in the bag a little longer than you would normally. I have had my driver for 5 years now and have probably saved $1000 by not replacing it with a new one every year. Good luck with those long straight drives.

In reality, $100.00 extra isn't bad for the custom shaft, yes you can buy it elsewhere, but you'll still pay for the shaft, the shaft installation, the new grip and grip installation charges, I believe you're better off getting it already finished......if the shaft makes that much improvement in your game, then from a golf perspective, it's a no-brainer, now you just have to decide if you want to spend the money!

you went to the Raven in Phoenix? if so , I was there too. Yes the PING driver is awesome...all PING products are....go to golf smith, I spent $70 bucks for a new shaft and grip for r5 driver that I like. It was worth it!!! a light new shaft makes any club a new club. Get that PING driver...you won't regret it!!!

buy the club and get the shaft somewhere else, a gold shop could install that shaft in 5 minutes for you.
