1.If B is between A and C, AB = 6x + 4, BC = 9x - 2 and AC = 19x - 6.
Part a. Find the value of x, AB, BC and AC. Show your work for credit.
Part b. What term best describes point B? Why?
2.InTriangle A B C., angle C is (10x - 5) degrees and segment AB = (6x + 8)mm.
Part a. What value of x would make Triangle A B C.equilateral?
Part b. What is the perimeter or sum of the lengths of the sides of the equilateral triangle? Be sure to include the unit of measure in your solution.

1)a)If B is between A and C that means that AC =AB+BC. Then
19x-6=6x+4 + 9x-2 i.e.
19x-6=15x+2 i.e.
19x-15x=2+6 i.e.
4x=8 i.e.
x=2
Then AB=6x+4=6*2+4=12+4=16
BC=8x-2=9*2-2=18-2=16
And AC=19x-6=19*2-6=38-6=32
b) Note that AB=BC=AM/2 i.e. B is the midpoint since it divides the segment AC in two equal halves.
2. a) If ABC is equilateral then all angles are 60 degrees. In particular angle C is 60 degrees.
Then
10x-5=60 i.e.
10x=65
x=6.5
b) since x=6.5 then AB=6*6.5+8=39+8=47
For an equilateral triangle all three sides have the same length so the perimeter is 3*47=141
3. Please define points F and I otherwise it is unclear what you are asking.
