Young Adult Fiction recommendations?
I'm trying to find some new young adult books/fiction to read after starting the Percy Jackson and the olypmians series. I've read the twilight, PJO series and Harry Potter series and loved them if that helps. I'm mainly looking for stories with romance, drama, fun and/or fantasy?

Animorphs by K. A. Applegate. It's about 3 teenage boys and 2 teenage girls—all friends—who acquire the ability to morph into any animal that they touch. They are caught in the middle of a secret intergalactic war between Andalites and Yerks. However, everything takes place on Earth in their generic American city that's never named. Andalites are Centaur-like creatures with blue fur, a razor sharp blade at the end of their whip-like tails, and no mouths. Yerks are about the same size and shape as slugs, but they are able to slip into a host through the ear canal and then completely control that creature.
Each book is partly about their daily lives and dialogue, with a good portion of fighting included. The best parts are when they morph each animal for the first time. Applegate conveys what it's like to be in the mind of that animal. For example, when they morphed termites, all they could think about all the time was to protect and serve the queen. One of the Animorphs, a black girl named Cassie, finally had the will power to break free and continue on her mission, which is why she morphed a termite in the first place.
The first book, "The Invasion," is the best, but the next 56 or so have some funny and memorable moments as well. Its ISBN-13 number is 978-0590629775.

How about The Giver by Lois Lowry? Suitable for young adult readers, it's a fictional world of what appears to be a utopian society where no pain and suffering exists, but later as the story unravels the unspeakable measures taken to eliminate the perceived "pain and suffering" this society reveals more and more of itself as a dystopia. Protagonist is a 11 (later turns 12) year old boy called Jonas who is given the privileged calling to be the Receiver of Memory, destined to be the successor of The Giver and the only person in society to know the meaning of life. He ends up heroically saving a special baby in danger, although sacrifices had to be made.
It's a bit old (published 1992), but romance, drama, fun, and fantasy are all in that novel and it's still a classic worth reading.
Another book I'm currently reading is The Shack by WM Paul Young; it's a story about a father who lost his daughter to a brutal murder, and how God wants him to revisit the site of the murder to receive healing from the painful loss and meaning in the context of eternity for the tragedy. It is a very beautiful novel.

Try any books by authors John Green and Maureen Johnson. The cool thing about reading their books is they make a lot of videos and post them on Youtube, so you read these great books then you can watch the authors talk about interesting stuff online (John Green video blogs on a channel with his brother called vlogbrothers). They've created this crazy community of people called Nerdfighters (anyone who likes reading and being awesome), which is closely linked to the Harry Potter community and has a lot of gatherings and stuff.
Series-wise, Artemis Fowl books are good and one of the best books ever is called The Poisonwood Bible (by Barbara Kingsolver).

Books by Meg Cabot are pretty awesome. I'm not a fan of the Princess Diaries series, but her other books, like Avalon High, Teen Idol, and All-American Girl are really awesome.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. Please read it, it needs more fans:
The Guardians of Time trilogy by Marianne Curley
First book: The Named
Second book: The Dark
Third book: The Key
It is a fantasy which had adventure, romance, history, action, everything! It's about people who can go into the past. They do this to protect the past from the Goddess of Chaos, Lathenia. They are the 'Guardians of Time'.

The Clique series by Lisi Harrison are fun, embracing, and some of them are romantic. There is tons of drama.
