    Yes the xbox 360 can play DVD's. It can even play most music and videos off a USB drive or stream them over a network from your computer

    Yes, i use mine all the time! You can simply put the dvd in the cd drive then it should play. With the variety of USB ports you could also connect your phone, hardrive etc. and listen to your music or look at pictures. hope this helps

    Yes. If you have XBOX Live you can even rent or even buy movies digitally.

    Yes, and if you're using an HDTV with an HDMI cable it will also upscale it to HD.
