hi everyone good anti virus with firewall?

Avira premium security suite is a very good one , it has a built in firewall and has a lot of great features such as Rookit Detection, anti spyware etc

It also scans a lot quicker than most other anti virus programs, and won't slow your computer down .

Just personal opinion of course. I use Avast , I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.

You will have to find the appropriate links as i am now getting violations each time I post a link. Seems like I have a troll.

If you want to spend money on a commercial version of anti-virus software, do a search for "best anti-virus software". VIPRE has consistently gotten good reviews for speed and small memory footprint.

As for your machine going to sleep every ten minutes. The easy way to fix that is to tight-click anywhere on your screen - not in an application window - the background or blank screen. You should get a "Properties" link. Click that, and go to "Screen Saver". From there, you can find the energy use configuration and "Sleep".

Just set the time for "battery" or "plugged-in" to the number of minutes before "sleep". I usually have "always on" when plugged in, and the screen go blank after 15 min.

For the sleep mode if you click start and type in "sleep mode" or "change when the computer sleeps" it should come up and you can the chnage the time before it goes into sleep mode.
