Honest Muslim or Misinformed Muslim?

Just wondering, but, isn't this the guy whose wife got fined for driving in a burkha and who is facing charges of cheating on his Welfare and benefits, like a lot of Muslims in the West?

Or is that another guy?

You can have one wife in Islam unless for some reason there is a shortage of men. Muslims have been mis-applying the scriptures to have up to four wives without that contextual condition stated in the scriptures of there being shortage of men.

As for how Islam is being practiced in error, you can have four wives. In France, mistresses are common, an an errant cultural practice equatable with misyar and some mutah marriages in errant practice of Islam.

France is not known for being fair to Muslims.

Az-zina is haraam in Islam. Means it is forbidden. The punishment for pre marital sex is 100 lashes. He's giving an analogy here. If he is married to all 4 women Islamically (means has a nikkah with all of them) they are his legal wives under Islamic law, even if he is only married to one in the country courts. He is saying, if it is legal and okay in Western society to have multiple mistresses while being married or dating, then why is it not okay for a man to have multiple wives in a society that gives "freedom" to gays and the rest of the population?

In Islam a man can have up to four wives IF he can treat them equally...

But a man CANNOT have mistresses!

also by mistresses he probably means misyar wives...

my belief is that misyar is not a marriage... but that's just me... it's acceptable in sunni sect of Islam.

Muslims can't have mistresses, but they can have slaves and captives. That adultery is allowed, lol.

Yes the Muslims had slaves just for sex. They were perverts (despite what Qur'aanan arabiyyah says):

The Prophet sent 'Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and 'Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. Ali)?" When we reached the Prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumlus."

Book 11, Number 2166:

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri:

A man said: Apostle of Allah, I have a slave-girl and I withdraw the penis from her (while having intercourse), and I dislike that she becomes pregnant. I intend (by intercourse) what the men intend by it.

The Jews say that withdrawing the penis (azl) is burying the living girls on a small scale. He (the Prophet) said: The Jews told a lie. If Allah intends to create it, you cannot turn it away.

Book 008, Number 3432:

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah her pleased with him) reported that at the Battle of Hanain Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace te upon him) seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:" And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)" (i. e. they were lawful for them when their 'Idda period came to an end).

Why France has problem with polygamy where as having sexual relationship with multiple partner is perfectly OK?

He is not married to these woman as per french law. So from France's legal point of view these are mistresses.

As per his comments about Islam, he is simply playing ignorant to show french people what there culture is upto.

You cannot have a slave in this modern era. The slaves back then were physically owned, they lived with the owner, eat with them, etc.. there was no wage or working hour things.

Plus just cuz you had a slave back then did not mean that you only had it for SEX. they werent perverts.

Plus if the 4 mistresses arent his wife then it can be considered as adultery.

and if he has 4 wives but is not treating them equal in EVERYTHING then he is earning SIN.

He's giving an analogy

They are not his mistresses they're his wives, but he's saying.. if it's not illegal to have four mistresses, then why is it illegal to have four wives.. he's making a point
