    When is the last time you saw a monkey on a computer? You don't. There is nothing new under the sun. There is plenty of evidence out there for those who want to know the truth. The truth is that evolution is a lie.

    Swiss cheese or fromage Suisse has holes in it because of the fermentation technique which creates the cheese. Cheese is made by employing introducing micro organism to take advantage of, which starts off to curdle because of the fact the micro organism consume and convey lactic acid. yet another byproduct of the digestion technique is in many situations carbon dioxide gasoline, which in some cheeses is trapped interior the rind, forming bubbles interior the excellent cheese product. Swiss cheese is the main nicely uncomplicated for this, with some forms of Swiss cheese having holes as great as walnuts.

    I'm sorry you dont understand it. Science is different than religion in that it doesnt say it has all the answers. There are always problems to solve. Each answer gains knowledge but creates new questions too. That is the beauty of it. Our never ending quest for truth along with the checks and balances provided (peer review etc) helps question and solidify or replace old theories. In religion, this doesnt happen so much. If you question 'knowledge' (old stories that date back for hundreds of years that have similar roots in many other old religions) in religion then you are scorned. Still, I thought the christian god wanted you to come to it on your own..anyways, I am branching off. That is another subject. Maybe you just havent researched it properly because, as a member of the scientific community (I work in a lab and have a degree in chemistry and physiology), it is incredibly rare to find a scientist who doesnt think evolution makes sense and that it follows the scientific method.

    If you have questions about it you can email me.

    the correct question should be why is your understanding of evolution so full of holes like swiss cheese.

    the theory is sound.

  • The only holes are those in the heads of creationists.

    The theory of evolution is backed up by an enormous amount of evidence. Because of that, the promoters of creationism resort to lies, misrepresentation, and frauds to deceive those who are ignorant enough to believe what they say.

    If you think that the theory of evolution has more holes "then" Swiss cheese, please provide one example.

    Added:

    @Barney379 has illustrated quite well what I said above. He has supplied a list of creationist web sites that just repeat the standard creationist lies, misrepresentation, and frauds.

    I will take one example from the first of those sites he listed, and I challenge @Barney379 to refute my refutation.

    "Evolution flies directly in the face of entropy, the second law of thermodynamics. " That is the heading, and is followed by standard creationist nonsense that is a gross misrepresentation of the Second Law. If what that site says is correct, then something as simple as a snowflake crystal could not exist.

    The laws of thermodynamics deal strictly with the dynamics of energy. (Thermo = heat.) The creationists confuse the issue by equating the Second Law with information theory. They both use the term entropy, but they are not equivalent.

    That site also uses the term disorder, and in so doing it goes outside the meaning of the term in thermodynamic systems. In thermodynamic systems, disorder is sometimes used as another name for entropy, which, in thermodynamic systems refers to the the degree of the non-availability of energy. It does not refer to information or physical structures. That is one of the ways creationists misrepresent things--by changing meanings midstream.

    So here are the first two Laws of Thermodynamics stated.

    The First Law of Thermodynamics states that energy can be neither created nor destroyed, but may change from one form to another.

    The Second Law states that, in a closed system, there can be no net increase in available energy and that any process that occurs in a closed system will result in less available energy (again, the degree of the non-availability of energy in a system is called entropy).

    Another way of looking at it is that any increase in order--or for that matter, any process occurring--in a closed system must be balanced out by a corresponding decrease in available energy. Since the earth is not a closed system, but gets its energy from the sun, any increase in entropy is balanced out.

    Here is the mathematical expression of the Second Law.

    Delta Q <= T Delta S

    Where Delta Q = the change in heat, T = temperature (stated as degrees above absolute zero), and Delta S = change in entropy (non-availability of energy).

    Or, solving it for entropy:

    Delta S >= Delta Q / T

    OK. So @Barney379, please explain how evolution violates that. If you cannot, then you will have shown yourself to be gullible in believing what you find in those lying creationist web sites.

    And I could go on and refute every other lying argument on those sites you posted, but I would not be able to do so in the space that Y!A allots for answers.

    I see that @Lightning From the East is back with his usual links to nonsensical, deceitful, lying creationist web sites. As is frequently the case, he will probably win Best Answer with an inordinate number of votes, even though he hardly ever provides a relevant, specific answer to any question. Anyone who is cynical would wonder just how many Yahoo! accounts he has.

    GodWinsInTheEnd, I am still waiting for you to provide one example of a hole in the theory of evolution.

    No. Your understanding is. This particularly catches my interest:

    <You do have to wonder if the evidence is so overwhelming, why all of the fraud:

    Piltdown man

    Nebraska man

    Piltdown chicken

    Lucy>

    It's funny that the people who point out cases of fraud within science neglect to point out that it's other scientists who catch it. The general public is generally not well-versed enough in the subject matter to catch fraudulent science.

    Someone who accuses others of fraud should not engage in dishonest practices himself.

    Only macro-evolution is full of speculation and conjecture. Even in contetion with micro-evolution itself.

    The Theory of evolution is a stronger theory than the theory we have to explain gravity.
