Will the rematch clause in the Mayweather-Mosley contract have to take place immediately?
assume Mosley wins the fight, and triggers the clause in the contract regarding rematch, will it have to take place immediately or does Mosley have the right to say " im gonna fight Pacquiao first, then get back to you", or will he have to fight Mayweather again, then fight someone else. Can he buy-out the clause?

I am not sure since I haven't seen the actual contract but most likely, it states that Mayweather has the right for an immediate rematch and if he loses to Mosley, he would undoubtedly want to fight Shane directly after the first fight.
The only ways that I can see a rematch not occurring if Mosley wins is if he either stops Mayweather (highly unlikely) or if he wins so lopsidedly to the point where Floyd won't want to fight him again.
There is also a chance that Mosley could pay Mayweather enough step-aside money to allow him to fight Pacquiao and then after that fight, he could give Mayweather his contractual rematch but in all likelihood, if Mosley wins, we will see an immediate rematch.
EDIT: The rematch clause doesn't matter now because Mayweather won a very dominant unanimous decision.

Mosley is tied up in that psovision in the contract. He can not fight anybody else before the rematch with Mayweather in case Shane wins in the first match.
Floyd knows he can be *** kicked by Shane in the first.

Unless the rematch clause states that it must be within a certain amount of time and no other fights in between then thats the case.
Every contract has to be very descriptive, there is always ways out of them but they sometimes cost money. Buying your way out of the contract would cost more than it's worth.

if that is the case, then they obviously wasted a perfect opportunity to earn big before a rematch...
d'ya think the GBP bosses will allow that? or the mayweathers? they are both driven by greed in case you dont know.
yet still, either way, it favors pac....
lots of top fighters are calling pac...
and eventually the winner of mosley/may
have to fight the #1...both their egos will
never be content staying on the #2 slot...
