Why am I thinking like this? (While I was answering this question closed, so I posted here.)?

Say we are sitting together talking about this. Not me giving answers or me explaining something, but the both of us together exploring the questions without knowing any answers. There wouldn't be any advice or conclusions we would settle on. We might have knowledge about some things, and this is part of what we are talking about, but the knowledge is not what we are going to settle for. It is an inquiry. In the inquiry there is no point in saying this is what I could, or should be doing. It is quite pointless to think about this inquiry personally. We are just talking together, and I think empathy is exactly what it is about. I am not asserting anything, not controlling, not leading, not being an authority, I am sharing the empathy. This opens the mind. A mind not stuck in knowledge, not stuck in authority, is inquiring. There is a lot to think about.
