The people who are taking the time to answer your question are doing it out of kindness (or boredom), but they also know that helping others helps themselves.

I think that being mean and taking advantage of others can get you ahead in the short term and I know a lot of people who do it. In romance, for example, someone may take advantage of another person’s feelings to get sex. In business, someone may take advantage of another person’s friendship to get a promotion. In both instances the person that is being manipulative may get what they were seeking, but ends up losing something even more valuable: their honor, integrity, and the friendship of the people they used.

So, to answer your question, I think that kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity, may not necessarily give you immediate rewards because it takes time for trust to build. But, once you have a solid foundation then you have “credit” in your personal bank account that will take you much further in love and in business than you will get by destroying bridges and using people.

Kindness does not lessen all opportunities for success... Instead it increases the likelihood that you will succeed. In all sorts of circumstances. Because when you cheat, GOD knows that you are cheating and He will make it less likely for you to succeed in life.

You know , kindness is not the only factor that contributes to success. It is also the quality of work, whether it is right or wrong, that also contributes to success. You can be wrong and be as kind as you want, and still not earn a high grade, or graduate, or get a status upgrade...

Not all. What if you're nice to somebody who's super-rich and decides to put you at the head of their company?

Hey, maybe you would like Nietzsche. You know, we live in a slave morality and all that jazz. Kindness, modesty, patience and sympathy are all a slave's values. Why should we have to put up with them when we can move faster if we don't stop to help the fallen/weak/lazy?

Kindness is very important for real success in business and in one's life.Without kindness you can maybe be sucessful, but who will really like you without kindness?You would not like yourself much either.Kindness is a strength , not a weakness.People may forget many things about you, but they remember kindness.

I think I have to rethink afresh or I think I have to take help from my master as I easily get confused.

I don't know, sometimes it seems like only the ruthless make it to the top. But I assume in reality this is not the case.
