If you dye your hair a lighter color and use a flat iron does it make the color darker?
Because I got my hair chunk-ed yesterday and used a flat iron on it and it looks darker to me.

no it shouldnt.. it probally just made it shinner. keep in mind when dying hair and washing it will make the colour change.. ps dont forget to wash in cold water only!

When you flat iron your hair the hair is closer together and therefore doesn't let any light in. Probably when you first got it done it was just blow dried and looked lighter. If you curl it it will look even lighter because there will be so much light in there.
