"Typical values for P-wave velocity in earthquakes are in the range 5 to 8 km/s."

    (3000 km) / (5 km/s) = 600 s = 10 min 00 s.

    (3000 km) / (8 km/s) = 375 s = 6 min 15 s.

I'd go with the lower speed (5 km/s) since it results on one of the choices given (10 min 00 s).

My pal it relies upon on the time of day, the site visitors and how some distance are you going. Taxis in manhattan city are cost by using the meter fee. The preliminary fare, once you enter a cab, is $2.50 and the meter is going up from there. My suggestion my pal, take the subway, its speedier and extra much less costly than a taxi. good success
