46:15 or 46:17 fixed gear ratio? Need advice?

I just want to know difference between 46:15 and 46:17?

I would try them out but none my friends have these ratio.

im running standard right now which is 46:16

I ride fixed gear.

    The 17 will be slower but you can climb hills better the 15 will be faster but harder to climb.

    The 50/15 is a great mashing gear ratio.

    15=faster top speed, slower take off

    16=lower top speed, faster take off
