I found a knot on my cervix?

Its about a pea size and really hard. What could it be? I am gonna call a doc ASAP but I am really worried. I did have pre cancerous cells removed about 14 years ago. I had a PAP that came back normal back in Aug 2009 when I was pregnant. Does Cervical cancer cause little knots like that.

It's probably a cyst or polyp, both conditions are very common, easy to cure (sometimes they don't even need to be removed or treated at all) and quite harmless. There might be a remote possibility of it being cancer, but I think you would have some abnormal bleeding if that was the case. Relax until you see your doctor, I doubt you have anything to worry about.

female I even have checked my cervix some days and did no longer even get in to the 1st knuckle on my finger! So, confident, it possibly is your cervix. often your cervix is low for the period of your era and suited after and then commence growing to be up, then after ovulation it is going to go returned off. those days the place it grew to become into severe grew to become into once you have been maximum fertile. Are you pregnant or ttc? Oh, and don't hear to those that say you ought to no longer verify your cervix... it is your physique, and in case you do it suited it won't harm something. you ought to be attentive to what your very own physique is doing. many women verify their cervix, it is not something new.

I'm wondering how you could even see your cervix. Probably what you are seeing is the opening to your urethra. Either way there shouldn't be a knot there. Have your doctor check it out.

It does sound like a tumor formation, and it should definately be checked out by your gynecologist ASAP.
