losing weight and toning up using a multi gym?

ive just brought a multi gym that does everything. i am aiming to lose a stone in weight and tone up and was wondering what you recommend for losing/toning up my tummy love handles and bum lol and how many calories can i aim 2 burn doing 1 hr of the multi gym and 1 hr walking a day. any other tips welcome cheers

    dont be afraid to work you whole body. You loose fat from everywhere all at once, its not "site" specific, so working your abs will make you loose fat from all over your body. And by working your whole body you will tone up and shappen all your muscles so when you do loose that fat you will look "tight". I wouldnt worry about calories either, just eat healthy and make sure you work out....as long as you do that you should always be burning more calories than you consume as healthy eating doesnt allow for an excess of calories.

    Just go running outside - it's free and it burns all over body fat and makes you so toned it's untrue. Run 3 times a week for 30minutes to start. Don't wear an iPod until you are 100% sure of your surroundings. Take a bottle of water. Wear sunglasses, not just for glare, they stop bugs going in the eyes! Run on grass where ever possible - kinder on the joints. Buy the best running shoes you can, but buy them from a specialist running shop, not just JD Sports, etc. Specialist shops will see how you walk, how you run, and get you shoes that are perfect for *you*. After a week you'll be able to increase your running schedule, run further and for longer. Trust me, running really truly works and it gives you such a buzz. The first time I ran non-stop for 40mins *and* managed the whacking great big hill back to my house, I got indoors and was leaping about, smiling like a nutter for ages!
