the art projest that i am working on needs to have a kind of pattern in the background, one that is simple enough to draw and involves straight lines. Do you know of any websites or have any ideas yourself?

you can go to jacksonpollock.org :) i don't know how much it will help but its fun.
and you could always go on google images and type in abstract patterns. Oh and deviantart is a good search engine for that too.

you can try deviantart.com but i'm not sure if there is a type of art that you want but you can always check that website out its really cool
