Advise on 3M window films?

I'd like to get some input on how effective the 3M window films are(http://www.amazon.com/3M-2141W-Indoor-5-Window-Ins... I'd like to use this product to try and keep a small office (about 15x15 feet) as cool as possible. The office has a large window (about 6x4) and although I have some metal draw string blinds the room stays pretty hot most of the afternoon. I have AC and several fans in use, but room faces the afternoon sun and the AC and fans do little to help. The 3M film seems like it does a good job keeping heat IN (according to reviews), but I'd like to keep heat OUT. Replacing the window with a tinted one probably isn't an option. Any thoughts advise etc?

i would give it a try, but because of the size i would have a helper. you don't say much about the a/c is it central or a window model, if it is a window unit on the sunny side of the building it won't do much good. i had a similar situation so i made a frame to hold a very breathable fabric to shade the unit and it works much better now and i did tint the window too, hope this helps

12 Angry Men Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Rope Long Day's Journey Into Night A Streetcar Named Desire (I suppose) Cast Away (I mean, c'mon, for the most part) One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is mostly one place... OH!! The Shining.... yeah.... that's the hotel and nothing other than their house for about six minutes... That should count.... There's a lot more.. Rear Window! Yeah. That would have to be one.
