diesel in a kerosene heater?
i have been all over the internet and have come to the conclusion that octane may play a key role in the way #2 diesel will behave in a wick style heater, so my question is why not just add some octane booster like Outlaw 108 available at any auto parts store. the price of kerosene is up to $5.79 a gallon while the diesel is just over $4.00. and i use about a hundred gallons each winter in my shop

i bought a used road king custom and at 32 mph a whistling noise occurs that keeps getting louder as the speed increases, it's driving me nuts, and my buddies riding next to me can hear it too. i asked the previous owner about it and he said he spent weeks trying to find it then gave up. i have been using masking tape on all the little areas that could act as a reed in a woodwind instrument to no avail. has any body else experienced this and did you find it. ask friends who have harley road kings and see what they say
