Why do my lobes refuse to stretch to 3/4"?

I'm at 5/8g and i've done everything i can think of to stretch them, but the plugs just won't go in.

I've weighted them down. I've used tapered items that were similar in size to the plugs, i've tugged on them for long whiles, i've tried putting them in in the shower. nothing works. What can I do to make them fit?

i wouldn't recommend weights, just because they make your ears stretch unevenly, so they're more likely to get thin and break at the bottom.

have your tried taping them? you just put some pfte or bondage tape on your plugs, and just add a new layer every day or so.

you'll gradually stretch yourself up to the next size, and then you can just slip the new jewelry in.

Try taping your current plugs. Literally, this mean wrapping layers of tape around your plugs until you're up to the next size you want. It's a much more gradual method than tapering, but it's much less traumatic to your ears and it gets the job done. The best tape to use for this method of stretching is PTFE tape. Some people use electrical tape, but I don't recommend it seeing as the sticky gunk from inside the tape can ooze out onto your ears and cause all sorts of problems. Also, I recommend using single flare tunnels when you stretch with this method. The metal lip on the front provides a guiding line so you can wrap the tape easily around the plug, and you can tuck any excess tape into the hollow of the tunnel to keep it from bunching up when you try to put it back in your ear. Do a wrap every three to four days to give your ear time to adjust to the size and you should be up to the next size you want within the next few weeks.

I used to have my ears at a 00, never went any higher because of the same reason. Maybe go see a professional about it, they may be able to help. But do no force them, tearing may occur. Good luck.

you ought to purchase tapers at hottopic or at any tattoo/piercing save. The tattoo save i circulate to will do it for you so i'm guessing maximum of them will yet they are going to probable cost you for it. additionally do not circulate straight away from a sixteen/18 gauge to love a 6 gauge it quite is quite undesirable for you. Take it sluggish do it one gauge at a time.

I wouldnt do that to yourself. What if you decide you want a respectful job one day and you go for your interview and your ears are all dangly and holey. You dont want that, especially when you get old. I mean doesnt that look nasty?
