Put a cup of white vinegar in before the first rinse cycle, works like a charm. Cuts the oil and the smell. Probably won't do much for stains if you've already run them through a hot dryer.

Try soaking in baking soda and ammonia for an hour before washing. If you fill the washing machine to just a small cycle add the baking soda about 2 cups, and 2 cups of ammonia and allow to soak an hour before washing. Let the machine go through the cycle after soaking. Then wash again with White vinegar and laundry soap as you regularly do and the smell and stain should be out. Use about a cup of white vinegar with a cup of laundry soap in whatever cycle level you usually use.
