cabbage tree frost damage?

i have a cabbage tree in my garden for the last 7/8 years but the prolonged frost we had in ireland this winter has killed off all the leaves i was wondering if it will grow back or is it dead . the same thing has happened to anybody in the local area with cabbage trees.any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Frost damage is different than freeze damage. Usually frost will not kill the plant but by the way you describe the damage it does not sound very good. You can only wait and give it time. You can check the stems for damage. The gardenweb Ireland forums may help you find a person closer to you to help you more.
