you got a minute.? inspire me..!?

Hi,

because of different personal reasons, I've had difficulties with my writing these last weeks.

to keep this short I'd like to ask if someone would have some sort of topic not many people have touched before.. maybe something I could work on... I gotta see if this is really what I should do with my life. a conflict in your own life, a song a poem, anything.

anyone got spare inspiration? thanks in advance.

    Poem:Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along

the beach with the Lord.Scenes from my

life flashed across the sky.In each,I noticed footprints

in the sand.Sometimes there were two sets of

footprints;other times there was only one.

During the lowest times of my life

I could see only one set of footprints,

    so I said,''Lord,you promised me,

that you would walk with me always.

Why,when I have needed you most

    would you leave me?''

    The Lord replied,''My precious child,

I love you and would never leave you.

The times when you have seen only

one set of footprints,it was then

    that I carried you''.

Whatever the problem is God know about it,let go let God.

No matter how many people have touched a topic, your unique experiences will make your writing yours. Here are a few topics it might be interesting to explore:

    1) an article or story comparing and contrasting the different experiences of the 2010 earthquake survivors--Haiti, Chile, China...

    2) a piece about a person who is young enough to be a major part of the Internet/information/digital age, but who has somehow avoided all of it...

    3) an article about the pressure aspiring authors feel to use social media and social marketing to reach more readers, yet still produce quality writing

    4) a comparison of the divorce rates of straight marriages and gay unions

    5) a study to see if there's been an increase in violence amongst college students since the rise in popularity of online social networking sites

I think you should think of your own idea to write about. Use that imagination and thought process. You are a writer and you need to recognize that if you are NOT then give the writing act up. YOU need to go out there and lift up your self with your self, you need to sit down with a pencil not a keyboard.

To me it sounds like you have problems that your not putting out there and you should. stop writing about other peoples problems write about your own.

you can write about people like myself who suffered when we were children at the hands of pedophiles, how we grew up differently from"normal children" why we thought we were different, the long term effects it has had upon people like myself, how we have overcome etc.it will take some research and maybe interviewing a survivor but it would be in depth........ gl
