Well, I'm only in 5th grade, not sure if I'll help, but I'll try to help, hon. Well, here's a follow- up question to your question: Which can withstand more thermal energy without breaking or melting?

The answer to the follow- up is aluminum paper, in this scenario. if you slide wax paper across wood fairly hard, it'll slip right over. If you slide the aluminum paper across the wood fairly hard, it'll put up more of a fight than wax paper.

    Hope this helped!
