I would say probably around 4 grand each, depending on the brand you get or the company you use, and of course you would be able to get a better deal doing both at the same time with the same company. Look to spend anywhere between $4000 and $10,000.

There are way too many factors into the hole thing to get a real accurate quote online. How the venting will have to be done (does it need to go through concrete? how long of a run is it?), how long of a chimney liner you need for your hot water tank, existing electrical, etc.

Of course, you can ask to keep the furnace and ac units that they take out, take them apart and take it to a recycling yard to get some money back. You can take the motor out of the furnace because there is a lot of copper in it, sell it separately, as well as all the copper in the old AC coil. The rest you can just take to a scrap metal yard and get a few bucks back.

Best bet is to get free quotes from at least 3 different companies, and don't just jump at the cheapest one right away... As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Do some homework on the companies as well, most companies deal in new homes as well, you can more than likely get some numbers for the home builders they have long standing contracts with and see if they have had any problems.
