Did the "Los(t) Suns Give 70% of Arizonans the Finger By Supporting Illegals Over The Law?

I sure think so, and am so glad that I don't watch basketball, along with most of the rest of thw country. Perhaps Steve Nash and his compatriots should move to a border town to see the utter devastation that illegal aliens bring to those towns and the citizens unfortunate enough to be stuck there. Nash and the Suns team were whining about a law that was passed because Washington cares not about enforcing a law THEY MANDATED TO THE STATES. Nash acts as if illegals coming here siphoning off social programs and destroying our public entities with their needs is no big deal. Maybe when it affects him and/or his regressive friends he will think differently. Anyone know where he actually lives? Not the address, but where in Arizona?

Update:

All I need to know about Nash is what he said about the law and his solidarity with illegal aliens. I don't care if he is a modern Mother Teresa that hands out lollipops to little starving kids. If he wants to protest "bad treatment" of immigrants, he needs to focus his angst to our southern neighbors, who treat their illegals worse than dogs.

My grandparents/great-grandparents were not immigrants, I assure you. My people were among the first here. In fact, before I hear a "the indians were here first" argument, they migrated here too...from today's Russia, using the frozen Bering Straits as a bridge.

The Earth used to have one large mass of land until something happened and it separated into 7. My ancestor's family got caught on the North American continent, and he couldn't see them until 1492, when ship-building and exploring took hold. Tragic but true, so therefore, I am a native American given some of you guys' logic. ;-)

    Yes.

And tell them if they want, they can leave their multi-million a year B-Bal USA job for playing B-Bal in Mexico for 25 cents an hour if they don't like US LEGAL immigration policy. Liberals think policy does not apply to them.

And if everyone is thinking like liberals do, someone is not thinking.'

While I do agree that Arizona was right to act on this issue, I completely disagree with giving cops the power to racially predict who is and who is not a legal resident, My problem (and most people agree) with this law is who actually looks like an illegal immigrant, there is NO WAY to point out an illegal immigrant just by looks, other than racially pointing out people, put your self in latino's shoes, if you lived in a state that is made up with latinos and you had 3 or 4 million illegal white immigrants (you included) will you like giving cops the power to just stop ANY white person simply to check to see if he/she was legal or illegal??? No need to answer, I am sure you will ABSOLUTELY not allow that...

I think that a better solution is WHEN any law officer encounters an illegal resident THEN he/she can take the appropriate steps for deportation.

And btw illegal immigrants cannot use any social programs such as social security, medicare, etc. because you would need a social security number in order to use any of those programs, the only thing that illegal immigrants are taking away from americans are the low tier jobs such as gardening, maids, janitors and other extremely low paying jobs that americans don't usually do, and they do end up paying sales tax so the notion that they live tax-less is false.

So, I think states should look at two solutions, or possibly combining them, I think states should look into naturalizing law abiding people, and deport any illegal immigrant with ANY criminal record, including misdemeanors, the benefits will obviously be taxation, it will solve alot of budget problems for the US.

The new law allows police to pull people over and search their vehicle because of the color of their skin. That is fundamentally wrong on multiple levels.

Immigrants will always find a way into the country regardless, the solution is cracking down on employers who hire illegals and pay criminal wages, NOT supporting racial profiling.

Plus it's sinco de mayo. Have a little respect.

PS - your grandparents/greatgrandparents are immigrants.

PPS - There is no such thing as an native american, your ancestors immigrated from someplace just like everybody else, and probably broke their backs to survive while being profiled and abused like every wave of immigrants. Irish, italians, germans, chinese, and on and on.

dont bag on Steve Nash until you've done your research.

read more about Nash and his political position, his philanthropy, and overall generous demeanor before you make accusations.

I'd prefer not to comment on nothing in this section that doesn't have much to do with Basketball.

Source(s): I agree with you to anlarge degree. Arizonans have been pretty generous but enough is enough. It is bad enough now that 70 percent of the people are fed up. Let's see if something real will actually slow the ridiculously fast pace of illegal immagration. We can't take crap forever in america without serious harm to our great prosperity and future.
