Well, to be honest with you it's prolly a combination of both. I mean, guys still have eyes in their head, so if you're butt ugly, they're not going to hit on you. But they are also often led by the snake in their pants, making them a lot less picky than many girls are when it comes to guys.

What makes a person hot is not necessarily looks. It is the combination of confidence, attractiveness, and intelligence. Some guys will tell you that you are hot, just to get sex from you. You must possess more than those qualities in order to keep a guy, however. You must be kind, considerate, trustworthy, and sincere. Being conceded is a huge turn-off. Just be yourself and enjoy the attention you get. If you are very attractive, you will get way more attention than you will want. You will have to weed through a lot of arrogant guys that will try to use you for sex, control you, or make you do things that you would not ordinarily do. Be careful. Being hot is not always a blessing. Sometimes it can be the worst curse you will have to deal with. make sure you never compromise your moral character to accommodate one of these unworthy type guys. There are good ones out there that will treat you great. They are not always the hot ones, but they are the ones that will give you everything you need in life--respect, kindness, consideration, a good future, etc... Guys are picky when it comes to categorizing girls so basically if you are 8 - 9 on the hot scale then you are HOT!

in High school you said you were shy, for me this is a major attraction point ( i love shy girls ) but basically when a girl is shy and a guy try to talk to her she won`t show that she is attracted so the guy will back off, so this is basically the reason you did not get much attention in high school.

in College guys are more bold especially the type you described and let me tell you this type is extremely picky when choosing girl friends so you are 100% hot.

Liking somebody for their looks is shallow.

Of course, how somebody looks attracts you, but it is no guide to anything serious.

Don't think that somebody who looks hot is the best guy for you.

Even if he is going out with you.

He knows how to compliment you and tell you things that you want to hear.

Go slowly and learn about him.

What are his friends like.

Will he bring you to his family?

Do you know where he is and what he is doing when you are not with him?

Is he open or secretive?

Does he make lots of excitement and drama (bad boy) or is he nice, shy and boring (nice guy)?

What people say is not such a big thing.

It is what they do that shows their true colors.

Don't be fooled by some guys who compliment you a lot, to get where they want.

And everybody has the similar goal, but they just go about it differently.

You are dwelling on appearance and what other people say.

I think you need to change direction and find a GOOD guy.

This will take a lot of time, and he will be willing to spend it with you.

You have posted this question several times. It sounds like you're just looking for validation. We don't know you as a person or what you look like. Why are you asking a bunch of strangers if you're hot or not? You need to have more self confidence than that to be in a relationship with someone. If guys really tell you all this stuff then why are you seeking advice from people who don't know you?
