Here's a question.. has there been any team in NBA history...?
Has there any NBA team in history that DID NOT make the playoffs for a season then made the playoffs the next season, with at least a 3rd seed and went on to the conference finals, WITHOUT MAKING ANY BIG ADDITIONS?
In big additions I mean impact players or all star players added to the team.
And if there is? How did they do it?
Of course I am referring to the Suns, who did not make the playoffs last season. They lost an all star in Shaq and yet made the playoffs with a 3rd seed with no additions except a decent player in Channing Frye and are on the verge of making the conference finals.

I was about to say the Celtics but they added Garnett and Allan so... Idk. Haven heard of any.
Susn are very improved. MOSTLY IN THEIR DEFENSE. I am proud of them.

How about this. Without their Superstar they finish 15-67 being the worst in the NBA and as a result to that they miss the Playoff. After that year their superstar came back and leads a crappy team and finish as the 5th seed. Hows that?

what do u mean no impact additions? Channing Frye is a HUGE part of their success this year. He is the best 3pt shooting Center in the league.
