are 9mm guns ok for hunting?

nope its illegal to hunt turkey with anything but shotgun or bow and illegal to hunt deer with anything smaller then a .243 im most places all you can hunt with a gun like that is milk jugs, steel plates, paper targets, and stuff...or a rabbit if you could get close enough but its not a hunting round.

Mas is in the know when it comes to handgun calibers. I have always stated empatically that the 9mm (or even the .45 acp, for that matter) are NOT hunting calibers. The 10mm is acceptable merely because it mimics the performance of the old .41 Magnum and carries more of an ammo load as is. But if I were in Grizzly or Brown bear country I'd be packing at least a .454 Casull. Stay safe. The nine is better than nothing but stay outta bear country if that's all you got. LOL! H
