I have strong faith and a religious education. I have seen in history and in the present that satan often makes attacks directly against leaders in the church and has corrupted and twisted many things involved and surrounding the church.

Secondly you must agree god is "everywhere" so yes god is not only in some building. The building "church" is a creation from man to pay homage and to assist in spreading the word. Fact is the word of god is being spread right now between us and many others everywhere in the world. That isn't secluded to churches or to Christians!

well the "symbol" of the bread and wine that's about faith isn't it? I used to eat the wafers out of the package when i was young but yes never would i disgrace the sacrament once it was blessed and transformed to the body of Christ. So if one doesn't have faith then it would be just a symbol to them.

Actually i believe not reading the bible by the Catholics has been a poor choice. They are one of the few sects that do not promote the personal reading of scriptures. The attitude of the church has been that an educated priest will instruct the parish as so not to have the bible thumping southern style of ignorance in interpreting the bible. kinda a catch 22 there!

by the way the media sources do enough whispering on his behalf now that I would consider most Christians are falling down anyways and will not get back up.

And I haven't found a church/denom yet that says you don't need to be baptized... just that it is not a salvation issue. If getting your hair wet is a salvation issue and not just a symbol of your faith, then taking a shower should do it for ya.

Nowhere does the Bible say "go to church"... it simply says "gather". and you can do that anywhere.

As for the Eucharist... the Old Test says it's an abomination to eat the flesh of man or to drink his blood. Now god wants you to do it?

As for where it says you shouldn't interpret it on your own... it adds you should seek the Jewish Priests for the correct interpretation. I don't see Christians doing this one AT ALL.

And last but not least, how many places are there in the Bible which states "do not add to Gods Word"? 3 or 4 times I believe... Deut and Revelation are 2 right there. I believe it says it in Exodus too. And that should cover the whole "God's silly rules" - especially considering there aren't many Christians at all who follow the Old Test laws.

And you wonder why people turn away from this stuff......

Even the most depraved mind should be able to see that the creature cannot possibly contend with the Creator. It's funny, I see many of these behaviors in my Christian friends. I can imagine that if you went back and told the 5th century Christians these things, you'd be hanged.

1 - 5 IS ALMOST CORRECT THE REST IS RUBBISH ONLY FOOLS WOULD BELIEVE.

1) GOD CAN KEEP US IN PURGATORY UNTIL WE REPENT. GOD CAN DO ANYTHING. IT'S CLEARLY BEST TO INDULGE IN HIS GRACE AND PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE IN THE MOMENT NOW.

2) THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TRUE FAITH IN GOD WITHOUT SOWING GOOD DEEDS. AS SOON AS YOU CHOOSE GOD BACK INTO YOUR LIFE YOU BEGIN TO HAVE DIRECTION ON THE THINGS TO DO. IF YOUR FAITH IS STRONG AND PURE, AND YOU CAN DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO MAKE GOOD HABITS, THERE'S NO GETTING AROUND DOING THE WILL OF GOD AS IT JUST COMES NATURAL FROM THIS POSITION. CHOICE IS YOUR TOOL.

3) THE FIRST 2 COMMANDMENTS TELL YOU WHAT GOD WANTS. VERY SIMPLE BUT MANY IGNORE THESE 2 GOLDEN RULES. NO PHYSICAL MATTER CAN REPLACE GOD AND WHAT GOD IS TO YOUR LIFE. RITUALS ARE THERE TO REMIND US OF OUR ADORATION TOWARDS GOD. WE DO THESE THINGS IN TRIBUTE TO GOD AS A SIGN OF RESPECT AND LOVE BUT THEY ARE NOT NEEDED FOR SALVATION.

4) AGAIN, THE FIRST 2 COMMANDMENTS SAY IT ALL AND CHOICE IS YOUR SECRET POWER. CHOOSING LOVE OBVIOUSLY BEING YOUR STRONGEST ABILITY.

5) BY NOT DEFINING GOD YOU APPRECIATE MORE OF WHAT GOD CAN BE IN YOUR HEART AND YOUR LIFE. CHURCH HAS BEEN MISUSED TIME AND TIME AGAIN BUT THE TRUE TEMPLE IN YOUR BODY MIND AND SOUL.

6) RUBBISH. THE BIBLE MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT THE WORD OF GOD IN IT.

7) RUBBISH. NO RELIGION OR MAN IS RIGHTEOUS. ONLY GOD IS RIGHTEOUS AND GOOD AND WE HANG IN THE BALANCE OF OUR "CHOICE". IT'S NEVER ABOUT WHAT WE WANT BECAUSE WE KNOW ONLY OF THIS WORLD. GOD KNOWS HOW TO FEED OUR SPIRIT SO IT'S MORE A MATTER OF WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO PAY ATTENTION TO AND ABSORB. SOME PUT TOO MUCH MEANING TO THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND/OR THE CONFLICT AND CONTRADICTION THAT RELIGIONS AND THE SCRIPTURES BRING ABOUT BUT GOD IS ONE WAY AND DOES NOT CHANGE. MAN HAS CHOSEN HIS OWN DESTINY FOR LONG ENOUGH AND LOOK WHERE IT'S GOTTEN US.

READ "CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD" FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Before you go on arguing about the attributes and motives of "satan," I'd suggest you provide some evidence that "satan" actually exists. Until you can establish there is such a thing as "satan" (and nobody ever has), arguing about its attributes and motives is rather silly...
