Gay guys: Was the locker room a difficult environment for you growing up?
I loved and hated the guys locker room growing up. I loved seeing other guys undressing, but was too scared to change in front of other guys for a long time. It was never a place I felt totally comfortable in and I wonder if any other guys had a difficult time in the locker room or if you have the opposite experience.

Well I'm a football player and I'm gay but honestly I don't care that there are a bunch of half naked guys around me. I'm there to play football, not scope out the guys in the locker room. Besides it isn't nothing that I don't have or haven't already seen. I'm very comfortable changing in front of other people.

I'm wasn't a skinny boy so I was embarrassed to let anyone see me shirtless. I always wore undershirts, so I was pretty much comfortable changing with the other guys. The locker room had a mirror on the ceiling and my crush changed right in the next aisle of lockers, so it was very easy to stare as much as I wanted without getting caught =x
It wasn't very difficult I'd say ^^

I'm in high school so I'm still having to use locker rooms. It's pretty uncomfortable for me. I'm fine with changing in front of other guys, because for gym we don't have to get completely naked. I really try not to look at the guys changing shirts because I'm afraid I'll get caught looking or something. The worst is when the boys track team comes in to take showers and I'm so afraid I'll see one of them naked and get a *****. I wonder how it would be for straight guys to have to share a locker room with women.

I am currently a freshman in high school and it was a new thing for me. In Middle School we didn't have to change for P.E. But now we do. At first of course I was a little nervous because some people new I was gay and I didn't want them to think that I was gonna look at them or anything but surprisingly, nobody even payed attention to me and I realized it wasn't a big deal at all. I also enjoyed the dumb "jocks" that liked to run around naked for some reason..? lol

back in highschool.. I wasn't nervous because I didn't consider myself bisexual or attracted to guys.yet
and now since I came to term with my sexual orientation .I still don't think its an awkward environment because all I cared about is how our team must manage to pull a victory for the night.. in other words If you put a goal in your head for instance trying to improve your performance for whichever sport you're playing, you would feel more comfortable and the thought of being scared around hot half-naked young guys would go away

I LOVED LOCKER ROOM!
cuz i have a feet fetish, and the guys would just leave their shoes and socks all over the floor! it was practically a sex club for me! lol jk, but i never had many difficulities in the locker room cuz we are so spread out. tho there were these shy guys who go into the bathroom stall and change, they made so much fun out of them!

one of my favorite places (wish they'd make body wash that smells like that). heck, in jr hi we still skinny-dipped for swimming and that was fun too. was a little worried when I got a PA but that turned into fun too (wasn't out, but not in the closet either - sort of got a sex fiend rep out of it)
