I had to do it.

My guess is small minded, point collecting non-readers. When I was shopping for my first bike this last month (and generally green to the motorcycle world) I was so turned off by the Harley verses everything else mind-set. I heard the arguments and everything, but I concluded that most makers put out good bikes now. Sure, some models have quirks and annoying maintenance issues, but even the 'made in the USA' argument was nonsense as many Harley parts are made overseas now (am I wrong?). Maybe it's an us-vs.-them thing. Ignore the trolls. They're lame.

Harley dirt bikes from 70s crap? Not really, just about current at the time but not the leading *** racers. Italian Aeramachis made for American market with a few style changes. The 2 strokes were fair dual purpose, the 250/350 4 stroke singles also fair on tracks but not as good as the 250/350 twin 2 strokes from Yamaha and Suzuki for track speed. Scrambles were fair sport but not racers like 250 suzi Savage single..

It goes both ways. The online stuff is no biggie, just morons venting, what brings me down is the real world stuff. I've got three bikes from three different countries, and no matter which one I take out 50% of the riders I encounter will automatically dislike me based on what name is on the gas tank. Not much brotherhood of the road out there.
