Help with Xbox 360 yellow cord!?

I have a basic cord (red/white/yellow) for my 360 recently my cord has been acting funky. I can hear everything but not see it. Before I had to bend it and it worked. But now it doesn't work at all. Please help I need a way besides buying a new cord. Please help.

    Use a knife and slit the cord until you see the break, wrap the break up with strands of thin wire so it makes a proper contact before taping it back up with insulation tape.

    That's the cheap way of trying to fix it. Buying a new cable off ebay is the next cheapest and more reliable solution to fixing your cable problem. eBay is a lot cheaper than buying through a shop.

    You really need to replace it. EBAY would be a great source for this for saving money. If you don't want to purchase it from EBAY, go to your local video game store and see if they have any used cords you could buy for less. If your TV has the options for something better than the basic red/white/yellow, you could use the component cables that probably came with your system. If not, you could buy that or even an HDMI cord which is your best quality option if you have an HD TV.
