How in the world is a non-judge the best pick to the Supreme Court?

B.O picks a gender-neutral candidate, Alan/Elena Kagan, fo rizzowl, but since he has a penchant for finding gender-neutral candidates, as Clinton did with Janet Reno, Donna Shelayla, and his wife, could BO not find a eunuch who had actually judged before?

Update:

Sandra Day O'Connor was a really stupid pick, but she was a judge before being chosen. She was even an associate judge before being chosen. Being a dean at Harvard doesn't mean anything now either, let alone qualify someone to hold one of the most powerful positions in the country. Harvard has become a den of white guilt and liberalism, and has lost its sheen, so please don't try to impress me with the dyke's credentials. I already knew what she did beforehand, Poindexter. Oh yeah, Anthony Kenndedy, another bad Reagan pick, was a judge before hand too, so if you are going to answer my questions, please don't lie, because I will swat you down like a fly.

the answer is that she is not the best pick; she's the most practical for the left. they absolutely MUST pack the supreme court with people who will vote in accordance with their wishes. what do they wish? they wish to impose their radical social and political agenda on the rest of us (it's really for our own good, you see.)

lefties know their agenda would NEVER survive the legislative process. so they circumvent the will of the american people through the court system. it's all very simple.

"Kagan was formerly dean of Harvard Law School and Charles Hamilton Houston Professor of Law at Harvard University. She was previously a professor of law at the University of Chicago Law School."

Sounds more than qualified to me.

And just for a little Historical perspective, Howard Taft, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court only served as a judge for three years. And both of Reagan's nominations never served as judges.
