spider bite lip piercing!?

Question

okayy so i got spider bites done yesterday! i had one lip piercing for a good month & a half, and i went yesterday to get the other one, but i jus got some questions about itt.
like the first time i got my lip pierced, it didnt bleed, and they like applied oragel to my lip on the inside, then alcohol to the outside, & pierced it. didnt hurt. no blood. all good!
but when i went yesterday, they didnt do the oragel, and no alcohol. and it started bleeding after they did it! and it hurt way more! probably cuz they did it different, but whatever. 
but is it normal that that happens? like when i left i cleaned it with alcohol and put some neosporin on it, and i keep up with it. 
its only day 2.,..so it hurts a little bit and is a little swollen.
normal? did he do something wrong? jus wonderingg!(:

any piercing can bleed... it may have gone through a blood vessel which is normal
just keep it real clean
