Where would you stay between Hilton Austin and the Westin at the Domain? And Why?
My partner and I are going to Austin at the end of May and can't decide between those two hotels. Please give us your recommendation, especially if you've stayed at either hotels. Thank you!

They will both be very nice hotels. It depends what you have in mind for your trip. The Domain is mainly a shopping area with some nice restaurants thrown in as well. The Hilton is located downtown and there is a lot more going on in the area. There are more dining options, MUCH more nightlife and you are much closer to many local attractions (State Capitol, Congress Ave Bat watching, swimming at Barton Springs) if you stay downtown at the Hilton. I would personally only stay at the domain if you have some other reason that you are wanting to be in North Austin or if you are planning on doing a lot of high end shopping as part of your trip.
