How is Obama doing on job creation? Poll!?

One of Obama's biggest campaign promises was job creation. How is he doing?

1) Great! The jobs came back like he promised.

2) Ok, jobs will be back anytime now.

3) Not as good as I thought.

4) Horrible. Not only are things not getting better, but unemployment keeps getting worse.

    2. The April jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics was very promising. Wide range of job growth in multiple sectors including manufacturing. Obama's policies significantly reduced job losses, and are now showing signs of growth. The 500,000 or so part-time census workers that will be hitting the streets within the next few months will also provide another shot into the economy which should produce some better numbers later in the year as well.

People tend to have unreasonable assumptions about how much influence the President can really exert over short and long term job growth. Policies can provide incentives for job growth, government spending can dump money back into the economy, but there is no magic fix which can suddenly generate 8 million jobs. All recoveries take time, and unfortunately job growth tends to lag behind other economic indicators. Its just how the world works.

it is a very stable question. I heavily ask your self what is going on in our colleges that persons have not any further useful thinking skills. so a strategies each little thing Obama and Democrats have completed has raised unemployment. Now that would desire to be why they believe him extra. in the process the time whem Obama had a large majority the only plan they even claimed to create jobs exchange into the stimulus equipment. Now we come across our government exchange into making an investment taxpayer income failing companies for the sake of a political time table. completely unconstitutional. yet another failure of our colleges. human beings do no longer additionally be attentive to how our government is meant to paintings or extra importantly the way it is not any longer meant to paintings. Blind uneducated emotion has replaced the form in Democratic and liberal circles and the media does no longer understand the reality if it hit them interior the top. nevertheless Obama wins interior the believe branch. Its as though society has battered lady syndrome.

You must get your info from Fox "News" or something, because RELIABLE sources have all been reporting that jobs ARE coming back.

The recession was worse than most people realized -- but a complete collapse would have been MUCH worse than what actually happened.

The stimulus saved and created millions of jobs; preventing the loss of the auto industry saved millions more. The stimulus would have created even more jobs if the wing-nuts hadn't stripped many of the job-creation items out of the original bill before refusing to vote for it.

Why wing-nuts keep blaming Obama for the crash that happened before he took office continues to puzzle all us SANE people. Obama made a lot of promises (probably the biggest was health care reform); mostly, he's been keeping them.

    2) Yes they are 219,000 Jobs being Created maybe not be enough for like over 300 million people however the good news is we are on the right Track No boom but we are not losing Jobs some are holding on to theirs and the Economy is growing Its better to get some more Jobs then to Continue to lose a lot before Obama was in Office so Jobs will be safe and be back.

No way to rate it right now, its something that's going to take awhile to really see. I have noticed that the pay has decreased and the cost to buy hasn't. Still causing the middle class people to continue to shrink. I know I have gone from middle class to lower class. Time will tell if we will catch up again or if this will be a ongoing trend. If I had to say at this moment I would rate at a 3.
