    Not B. If Iowa and New Hampshire guaranteed a winner, there would be no reason to continue.

    Not C. The primaries select which candidate represents which parties. The general election usually decides the winner..Once in awhile, it is decided by bodies such as the Supreme Court or the Florida State Government, particularly the Secretary of State and the candidate's brother, who happened to be governor. What is the point of working to become rich and famous if it doesn't make any difference?

    Not D. Otherwise Al Gore would have beaten G.W. Bush. The whole point of the

    electoral college is to offset the power of the large, more populated states. Originally, it was designed to prevent the cities from having more power than the farmers.

    The correct answer is A, most of the time.
