Perhaps you didn't insert it all the way, or you have them in the wrong way ,my machine has a left and a right ,look to see if your have the initials on the paddles, ,is your machine clean ? do you remove the paddles after you have done baking the bread ,wash them in a light soapy water and let them air dry properly before replacing? consider all of these , if your baking pan is not pushed in place properly perhaps the paddle doesn't have proper contact. All of these are the only thing that I can think of at the moment .

I don't have a label on the paddles if you look close you may see a small engraved letter .

would it be possible for you to give me the model # and Make of your machine?

I will look that up .

I 'm looking for you , you give a model number but I need to know who makes this machine as well

I seem to have found that it's made by Empress

perhaps you could be of help to this person as well while I continue to look on here

these machines only have 1 year warranty on them , you can try to contact the company to tell them about the problem , or you may need to replace the pan and paddles to get better contact with the motor and this is not very cheap I paid over $50 to replace my pan that I dropped by accident . bread machines are not that expensive anymore so I would go and get myself a new one .

Try pushing down really hard to make sure it is attached property - and clean the inside of it and the rod that connects to it very well. If that doesn't do it you can try to call the mfg - they may be able to help you. I received parts (no charge) for my bread machine after calling mfg!
