my grandson just got his first jon boat- on the way home from a fishing trip the cover to the motor blew off. How can I find a replacement cover for this? He won't care what it looks like, anything to protect the engine. He's in another state so all I have to work with is a text photo of the title -- Thanks for any help.

I have a possum trapped under a trash can in the back yard - my dog won't leave it alone so it can't live here - Medium size possum, the dog caught a small one about a week ago (maybe same one?). I am nervous about trying to tip the can and trap/relocate it, not sure how to do that without getting bit.

I have an LG Optimus 9 metro pc phone, and was given a ZAGG invisible shield HTCWP8X8 new invisible shield kit. It looks like it would fit, but when I look it up on ZAGG it says its for an iphone8. Before I open it and ruin it I'd like to make sure it will work, otherwise I can pass it along to someone that has that iphone - thanks!

Going to commit to a smartphone this month, I've always had a cell but never a smartphone. Should I go with the apple iphone 5 for about 55 a month w/ 2 year contract or a LG9 thru metro for 35 a month w no contract? Metro works well in my area and currently I don't travel. I think the LG would do everything I want/need but one of my kids swears the only one that does "everything" is the iphone....not sure what "everything" means, but would appreciate anyone telling me what an iphone does that a droid cannot (and not just "I love my iphone..I get that, but it won't help me decide" I don't use it a lot, won't play movies etc on it, and the LG screen is bigger, which looks great to me.

Looking at the boxes of Gorton's fish products I can't find anywhere the country of origin. I like to know where the fish came from (especially after researching Chinese fish farming practices). Looking on their web site was of no help.

I have been using a t-mobile pre pay plan where I pay $100.00 and get 1,000 minutes (or texts). It has worked very well for me, but recently I have been receiving a lot more texts. If I buy an ipad (or other tablet) I understand I can text from it, but will doing that use up my prepaid minutes? Right now grandson is texting, but I figure that will taper off in a year or two, so I am reluctant to commit to a monthly cell phone bill when I haven't needed it until recently.

a disabled friend has cancelled all internet service to her house (economic reasons). She has a cable box to get a few tv channels only, and a smart phone with limited data usage. Is there any (cheap) way for her to get hulu, netflix, amazon, etc streaming shows? She lives in a different state so I'm trying to be helpful long distance -thanks for any advice!

found this plan and want it, but after live chat and 30 min. phone call (both times they dropped the call...ie hung up on me) they say it's no longer available. How can they advertise a plan that doesn't exist??

Just got a new laptop (not a touch screen) and really dislike windows 8. I was told the program http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/ that costs about 5 bucks would make it look and act like windows 7 - does anyone have experience with this? Already spent hours trying to make the thing user friendly for me (I use it for email, internet searches, not movies etc). and I'm reluctant to tackle it again if I'm just going to end up with the same thing. My current laptop is nearly 4 years old and needs a battery and has a missin key, but it still might be my best bet to fix it up until windows 8 has improved. any help would be appreciated!

we have a big porch that faces the street and is in front of our living room, which is all glass doors. our current screen door has a kick plate area and 2 sliding glass panels (which I frosted with spray on stuff) and a whole screen panel. I leave each frosted glass panel up (or down with the top panel) about 2" which gives a lot of air flow but doesn't really impact privacy. The new doors I find only have half screens and this one really hasn't held up well, so I'd like to replace it with something more substantial (this door opens to the front of our house, so looks are important). Some of the security screen doors are lovely but I can't figure out how to give us some privacy other than using a total glass door which would cut down on the breeze (we live in FL, air flow is important :-). Any ideas? I thought of putting solar (sun) screen in the door in place of screen but I imagine it's too heavy to roll in the grooves and would ravel out and look messy, as well as being totally transparent at night. I also thought of putting in 1/2 of a set of french doors (opening is 36" wide) and frosting the panels and just giving up on any air flow. Any ideas? thanks!

How do I get rid of mold inside the air handler, located in the attic, to a 3 ton AC unit - pan overflowed.

switch was faulty and pan overflowed - now closet below pan and air handler is moldy and drywall will be replaced. HVAC Co. recommends expensive UV unit to get the air handler mold free. I would like to do something less expensive, but want to make sure we're not living with mold.

today yahoo changed the main page of a group I help moderate. I can no longer search messages to see what members have done in the past, and it's basically a nightmare to navigate. Members are emailing asking for help and none of us know what to tell them. Can I switch back somehow? They really ruined the user friendly aspect of the groups from a moderators point of view- thanks!

Grandson has decided to finish his senior year here in Florida (he lives in a different state) - would a laptop or a desk pc be better for school use in his senior year?

Company is coming for a week and she is gluten free. I usually rely on my freezer to pull out homemade lasagna, stuffed shells, etc. but obviously that won't do. Would love some "make ahead" things that are company worthy and not much work the night they are served, as we play tourists all day and by the time dinner rolls around I'm not much interested in hours in the kitchen, either cooking or cleaning up. She's not much on seafood either (shrimp skewers or grilled fish is also a fallback favorite of mine...lol). thanks much for any help or advice - they came last year and we ate some pretty bad stuff while I tried to use gluten free ing. in my old recipes!

it's a double car garage, windows across the top. When we had it installed we didn't opt for the extra money to get an insulated one and boy are we sorry. Our previous garage door was wood, which never got hot to the touch so we had no idea how hot a metal one would get - the heat that thing radiates is incredible and it's not even in direct sun

I was given a recipe for wonderful rum balls, and we have a little clear colored Mount Gay rum, but no dark rum (we don't drink rum). Does the dark rum make a big difference in rum balls? thanks!

Found a sale on thin cut slices of pork scallopini meat for 1.36 a pound (!) and bought a bunch of it, as I also feed our dogs cooked meat and vegetables mixed with a limited ing. kibble (one is allergic to wheat and corn). But -- it's nice looking meat and I'd like to find something we'd enjoy it in (other than scallopini, which is nice but a "once in awhile" dish in my opinion. Any advice or recipe will be most appreciated!
