Do I have a mouth disease? Please help?

Hi I'm a 16 going 17 year old girl with a problem.

There is a small invisible bump or swollen area in my mouth above the last tooth at the back of my mouth.

It is not painful at all, in fact, it's actually kind of numb and when I looked inside my mouth, I could not even see it!

I doubt that it's an STD because I've never had sex, kissed anyone, or even shared drinks... or... I'm confused. I've been putting ice on it and it seems to going away too

Please help, diagnosis and home remedy appreciated.

It is not an std. It may be some infection coming from the last tooth or the gum around it or it may be from a wisdom tooth trying to come in. An x-ray of the area would find out the problem so see your dentist asap. Good luck.

It's quite possible it could be a small calcium deposit. I wouldn't really worry about it unless it was causing a lot of pain or got really big. My dad had tons of calcium deposits on the front of both his top and bottom gums. He also had really big ones on the back of his gums under his tongue. But he did get them removed.

    i very much doubt it!

your young so its not likely to be anything serious like cancer or anything.

i had 1, it dissapeared after a couple of weeks, never knew what it was.

if your worried, go to the doctors, or ask your parents.

    or search health pages .....
