I am trying to burn an ISO file to dvd. for some reason when i try it, the program i'm using tells me that it has been burned succesfully. but when i go to "my computer", to check the file on the DVD, there is nuttin there. I have tried to bur the files using Ashampoo and PowerISO. both do the same thing, tell me that the file has been burned succesfully, but yet i dont see any files on the dvd when i open it. the funny thing is that when i try to burn it again using the same dvd, the program tells me that the DVD is not empty. can somebody please help me,

An iso file is an image of the disc - when you burn it to the disc the disc doesn't contain the iso file, but it contains the files that the iso was an image of.
Imagine a bucket full of files - that's your iso. When you tip the bucket of files into the disk you don't keep the bucket - you can't see it in the disc because it isn't there - only the things that were in the bucket.
