My boyfriend thinks I don't trust him?
I absolutely love him and I know he loves me. we have been together for almost 5 months. we have had our ups and downs but things are fantastic. at least they were until a few days ago. you see my last relationship was something of a nightmare i wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy and because of that i sometimes get paranoid that he will do the same thing to me. i'm human, i get scared sometimes. anyway, i felt i could tell him what was on my mind and when i did, he took it as that i didn't trust him. telling me we don't have to be together if that's how i feel. by the way, every time we have a disagreement or something, he is so quick to jump to a break up and i don't know why. so since that conversation, hes been acting really distant. i have apologized repeatedly but it doesn't seem to get through to him. i realize it was unfair for me to judge him based on my past but i really don't know what to do now. i don't want something like this to come between us and ruin a great relationship. any advice plz
3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoHow to act around my boyfriend's mom.?
Hello everyone, I have been in a relationship with an awesome guy for about 4 months now. we get along great. I have an almost 2 year old son whom he is great with. he has met my family and my mom likes him a lot. he comes over talks to her and all of that. I have met his mom a few times and those few times have been rather uncomfortable. the last of those was a REALLY uncomfortable car ride with her. I'm pretty sure shes a nice person and all but i just don't know how to approach her. the worst part is he doesn't have any siblings around that i could maybe interact with. I tend to be a very shy person when i first meet somebody (especially my boyfriend's parents) but once they warm up to me i'm quite talkative. I don't just want to go to her house and feel uncomfortable. I want to be able to talk to her and actually have a conversation with her. I just don't know how to approach her. so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thnx
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoCan this incident be defined as racism?
Hi everyone, I am writing an article for communications class and i thought this would be a great way to ask for opinions from different perspectives. Ok so here is the scenario I'm working with: two individuals at a bar get in an argument and in the heat of the moment one gentleman refers to the other as a honky/ch*nk/ni**er/frog etc. in this case, is it racism if the name caller wouldn't usually use this type of language? can we constitute this as pure hatred of another race or is it just ignorance at its best? all you opinions are appreciated, and please be respectful of others.
8 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agochild support/ custody case?
hi everyone....just trying to get some info on the above topic. i want to take my son's father too court for child support. he's seen my son a total of 4 times since he was born almost 11 months ago. everytime he does something stupid and i call him out on it he decides to not call to check up on his son. for almost 7 months if you asked him where or how his son was he wouldn't know. he goes months without checking up on him because hes pissed at me. i asked him to babysit one time and my son went 5 hours without food. i haven't heard from him in almost 2 months because he came to see him and since my baby doesn't know him he started crying when he picked him up, so he figured the smart thing to do would be to shake my then 9 month old son. since i found out i was pregnant i have seen a total of $250 from him. my question is if i apply for sole custody, is there any chance he could get awarded partial custody? i really dont want him around my son alone. oh n did i mention he got 2 other girls pregnant at the same time as me?

4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoRashes causing peeling on baby's face?
Hi everyone. Just have a little delimma..... my son is almost 5 weeks old. He was born a week late and he has extremely dry skin, which has gone away now. Since about 2 weeks old, he started developing these rashes on his face. I thought they were heat rash, but then they got worse. Then i took him to the doctor and he said it was neonatal acne caused my his body trying to excrete my hormones, and that they would clear on their own. however, since a week ago, the rashes has gotten WAY worse, to the point that it's peeling his skin (it doesnt seem to hurt him , cuz when i clean it with a towel he doesnt even budge), there are lighter skin patches all over his face where the rashes peeled. and the parts where the rashes are still present are darker. has anybody had any experience with this and know what it is? its really bugging me. Im taking him to the doctors on tuesday to show my the doctor. please help
