My daughter is 3 months old and gags herself quit often, she even goes so far as to throw up sometimes, I dont think there's anything you can do about it though and im sorry I couldnt be of more assistance, other than to tell you my daughter does it too, and it doesn't scare me anymore

My son has actually just started doing this as well. I'm not sure if he's doing it on purpose or not, but it's just something they have to learn. When he does it, I just say no and he stops. Normally though he will start to gag and then will immediately take his fingers out of his mouth. It's really nothing to worry about unless he makes it a habit to start doing it all the time, or starts doing it and makes himself throw up.

My 11 month old son sticks his middle 3 fingers down his throat and gags himself, I just pull his hand out of his mouth (before he pukes) and give him a toy to play with...

    Its just a baby thing.

Nothing to worry about it, unless he actually stopped breathing (like blue).

Babies have to learn about their bodies themselves. There is nothing you can do to help.

my boys did it too. it's just a new thing they learn, he will stop soon. until he does though, just take his fingers out of his mouth and give him something else to chew on

I think all babies do it. Not a big deal, it just sounds awful.

Hello, he is a baby. Everything is new to him. It is perfectly normal. Relax.
