Why'd my best guy friend tell me his best friend may like me, but when i asked him to stop saying stuff like that.. he just smiles & giggles and says 'hehe ugh okay, ill stop ;)' his best friend has not told him, and so my best guy friend has been acting different lately..

(he went with me to dinner at a expensive restraunt for my birthday), got me candy, came to my house to visit me, and so on.

so out of no where he tells me how he thinks his best friend likes me.. i dont really like his best friend as more.. and his best friend doesn't even talk to me that much at all. so i told him to stop it, because hes like 'you should totally date him' and laughing alot.. so after i told him to stop (he got the hint im not interested in his best friend) he said 'ok, haha ill stop ;)' what was the reason for that...

esp since hes been acting so weird towards me lately, wants to hangout more than usual, even ditched plans with someone else to be with me.. then i had a really hard day, so i was texting him and i told him how i was crying... and he called me to talk to me and see if i was okay! thats not like him!

now that he knows im not interested in his best friend he acts more weird..

like i came over to his house to give him something and he was very close to me, and he was messing around trying to do something to me and id try to push him away by pushing on his abs/stomach area and hed just keep coming closer and hed try to hip bump me and so on..

he even let me snuggle against him because i was cold.

he came to my dance recital, and we took my car to go out to eat and we had two other friends with us and he claimed the front seat each time, he appeared more touchy than usual, more corny. and my friend who is good friends with him saw how different he is towards me compared to anyone else. he compliments me out of no where, talks about hugging, and gets more flirtatious when we are alone. people have asked him if we are dating and he pretends like its the most horrible thing ever than he mentions to me and says 'so and so thinks we are dating, isnt that horrible?' and id be like 'you love it, dont lie' and his face goes red and turns the other way to hide his face and smiles...

i heard he was going to go to his ex gfs open house, so i questioned him and he asked howd i find out and told me he cant.

i asked him if he talks to me when he and i are together and he said 'never, i try not to text with im with friends, whenever i text someone on my phone when im hanging with u, is something i send to you when i cant say something outloud.' he kept trying to reassure to me that he doesnt talk to her a whole lot maybe every other day or every two days.. he says he has some feelings for her.. but that hes moving on..

we went to church together, but his ex girlfriend came and sat behind us.. he didnt talk to her or really acknowledge her. he tried to appear the same as he always is towards me.. then after service she followed us out to eat with her friend, then for him to appear angry about the situation.. after she left, he went back to normal and during the car ride home he left me snuggle against him and rest my head on his shoulder

he seems to still struggle with having feelings for his ex, he wont tell me unless i almost nag him to tell me what the deal is.. his parents dont approve of her, including his pastor, and close family friends..

he invited me to come over to his house, and so i came over and he was playing his keyboard and songs he has made. he asked me to come help him with a song, and so i got up and sat next to him.. he moved in wayyy closer. (our thighs were definitely touching eachother and yeah) then his brother came in and started to jam too and if i payed more attention to his brother hed elbow me and nudge me until i payed more attention to him..

then his dad came home and we all went up in his room and they jammed together then out of no where he grabs my purse and walks around with it and then comes up behind me and sprays me with his cologne so its all over my hoodie..

one day at our work, i still had stuff to do and he said he was free to go and i seriously thought hed leave... well ten minutes went by and i thought he left... but instead he came and helped me, walked me out to my car and hugged me (we barely hug) so since that hug.. he texts me first and so on..

i just get confused on his behavior because one minute he can act flirt, sweet, and nice then the next hes mean, shoves his body into me, sprays his cologne, tries to pick on me 24/7
