Who know of a good but low price wi-fi signal booster,or a good wi-fi atenna?
ok! so I just got my new laptop and I live around the corner from my mother which she has a desktop with high speed internet...I can get on my wireless connection but its very low and faded...so now I need to buy a signal booster or a antenna to make my connection go farthere and I don'tknow any thing about either one.....plz help me (no dumb comments)

First, check to see if your wireless access point has a removable antenna..many do not.
I use a belkin repeater, but you need to install it so that you have good signal.
With your laptop, you probably can roam around and see if you have signal strength
in certain places, like in different rooms. There is a program called netstumbler that can get the details if you don't have a good app.

It's not really low priced, around $75, but I have a WiFire signal booster and I find that it helps, especially if you're getting the signal anyway but it's low.

ok quick lecture - it must be within 300 feet or 100 meters to use ..second make sure your ystem is located near a window hat would increase signal strength dramaticly
